If you’re looking for a stylish, adults-only place within walking distance of Main Street, we’d love to welcome you to The Menagerie. Our 21+ estate is two blocks from downtown Fredericksburg, close enough to wander into town and return when you’re ready for a quieter stretch of the day.
Our accommodations each have a look and story of their own. You’ll find them in historic buildings, including a 1909 Victorian mansion, a carriage house, a restored barn, and 1930s bungalows. Inside, antiques, color, and collected details give each space its own character.

We have eleven distinct accommodations, each with its own theme and feel. You might be drawn to the history of the Victorian mansion, or prefer the tucked-away feeling of a bungalow. Our grounds offer a swimming pool and places to gather. Accommodations include a kitchenette, mini-fridge, television, Nespresso machine, and stocked minibar. We can also help arrange experiences such as a private dinner, yoga class, or sound bath. A day in Fredericksburg
Main Street is easy to explore on foot. Browse the boutiques and galleries, stop for lunch, or find a place to linger over dinner. You don’t need a packed itinerary. A few hours can slip by between shop windows, a long meal, and the walk back through town.
If you’d like to spend time with the area’s history, the National Museum of the Pacific War is right in Fredericksburg. You can also look for live music during your stay, with performances at venues in town and nearby. Schedules change, so check what’s happening on your dates.

Wineries are generally beyond walking distance from Main Street, so plan for a drive or arrange a shuttle if you’d like to taste without getting behind the wheel. A few details before you book
We welcome guests aged 21 and older, and we don’t allow pets. Check-in begins at 4 p.m., and checkout is by 11 a.m. Parking varies by accommodation, with reserved and street options available. Check the arrival instructions for your unit before you set out.
Minimum stays also vary. The Rapture Mansion has a two-night minimum, and our other accommodations require a two-night stay on weekends. Please confirm the booking terms for your dates as you plan your visit.
